Today, many of the most challenging and vulnerable young people in the Looked After System are misunderstood and often criminalised. Emotional vulnerability can be difficult to recognise and often manifests in complex and challenging behaviours.
Fairport Care Services believe that many of these troubled young people can be helped through participation in our residential programme. Our approach is challenging but non punitive, respecting and supporting their right to realise their full potential for change.
The young people at Fairport Care Services are part of a culture that is empowering and encourages the development of new skills through participation in a wide range of activities aimed at improving their confidence, self esteem and ability to collaborate with others in a mature and respectful way.
